Sound the breaking news klaxon! Burberry have just unveiled their brand new campaign star for Spring Summer 2013 and it is *drum roll please* Romeo Beckham! David and Victoria's son makes his modelling debut by striking a pose for Mario Testino alongside Edie Campbell and Charlie France, all wearing matching trenches. Not bad for a 10-year-old.

Romeo joins stylish types including Cara Delevingne and Charlotte Wiggins as part of the swish Burberry crew and a source tells us he was 'a joy to work with and really stole the show.' With that cute-as-a-button face and fluffy quiff, we're hardly surprised he was the pick of the Beckham bunch. Grazia Daily has been treated to an exclusive backstage shot of Romeo with Burberry's creative director himself, Christopher Bailey, who told us: 'We had such fun shooting the campaign and I think that comes through in the images.

This is further confirmation that the Beckhams really are the nation's most stylish family. Romeo has already won the admiration of Karl Lagerfeld, who told Grazia Daily that he is 'handsome, cute, polite' when he met mini-Becks earlier this year. Then proud dad David revealed his middle son is the most fashion-forward of his offspring, saying: 'Brooklyn will just wear his soccer shirts and T-shirts, but Romeo is the fashion one, so he'll go for skinny jeans and a vintage T-shirt and funny hats. One Christmas he asked for a pair of Spats shoes.' And who could forget when GQ magazine included him in its best-dressed men of the year list in January 2011?
But Romeo's fashion credentials first came to the fore way back in March 2010 when Victoria said that at aged 8, he was already showing a keen interest in taking over the reigns at her burgeoning fashion empire. 'I think that my middle son thinks that he is going to take over,' VB revealed. 'Romeo likes to get involved. He likes to go out in a suit with a bowler hat… he's a real fashion lover.' Looks like it runs in the family, eh?
