Alexa Chung does a brilliant job of being the Brit girl flying the flag for fashion both homegrown and international. Pick a designer, any designer, and chances are she’s worn them. That includes just about any self-respecting mega-brand one might care to mention - in particular, Louis Vuitton and Chanel – and the bright, young and brilliant, from Christopher Kane to JW Anderson and Thakoon.
Alexa topped off a stellar style year by scoring a hat trick at December's British Fashion Awards when the super-cool star bagged the Style Icon gong for the THIRD year running. Mr. Valentino presented the award to Chungers who looked understandably delighted. It was back in 2010 when Alexa first picked up the accolade and she scooped the much-coveted prize again in 2011. 'It’s just nice that I’m still relevant!' she told us at the time - and 2012's ceremony proves that one year on, she still is.
