BFF of Kate Moss and Rihanna and new girl about town, Cara Delevingne is the model of 2012. Hell, she’s even got a British Fashion Awards gong to prove it. Currently the face of Burberry Beauty, the 20-year-old Londoner shot to fame earlier this year when she starred alongside Eddie Redmayne in the brand’s spring/summer ’13 campaign.
Although it’s true to say Cara could pull off the proverbial bin bag, her off-duty kooky style, combined with some stellar red carpet looks, have earned her serious fashion stripes this year. As model agent Storm’s Sarah Doukas told us, ‘She has this dynamo inside her, she could be a silent movie star it’s all going on in her face, you can see it shines through.’
Accessories Designer of the Year Nicholas Kirkwood agrees, 'As much as Cara is a top model, she’s also such a cool, easy-going girl with none of those diva antics. I think that’s something that is very British.'
