J.W. Anderson's Second Topshop Collection Revealed: Verdict? We Want It ALL...

Hooray! J.W. Anderson’s collaboration with Topshop was not, we repeat, NOT a one season only thing. The wunderkind is back with a second range for the high street goliath and boy oh boy, we want just as much of it as the debut. I.e. we’d like one in every colour, please.

It’s only two weeks until the much-hyped North Ireland-raised Dalston-based designer will be showcasing his autumn/winter 2013  mainline collection but you can get a sneak peek of this more bargainous offering right here, right now, before the official in-store and online launch on February 15 – aka the first day of London Fashion Week.

The first round of this collaboration was also launched on the opening day of September’s LFW – meaning some very dedicated fashion editors went directly from their New York flight into Heathrow to Oxford Circus’ flagship Topshop store. Which meant J Dubs’ paisley prints, bat jumpers and dungaree dresses took pride of place amongst the weeks’ FROW.

So what will the style-lovers snap up this time? Well, rather than a 360 turn in the design arena, you’ll find an evolution of items from Anderson’s previous range – like kilts, matchy matchy tee and pencil skirt combos, flat boyish shoes and motif jumpers. Only this time the skirts are patent and pleated or in dark denim, the matchy matchy pairs are argyle knitted and fringed, the shoes are stacked with a flatform or arriving in unexpected colourways like silver snakeprint or baby pink, and the motif jumpers feature dodos, vintage cars and a love heart. Which piece gets your heart pumping? And how will you wear it? Actually, how will super-fan Alexa Chung wear it? Hmm.... SCROLL through the gallery below to see the full collection.
