If you're suffering from post-Christmas bulge or are sick of all this grey grey weather, be warned we are about to show you some Victoria's Secret angels in bikinis on sparkly white beaches. The underwear giant has launched it's first of this year's Victoria's Swim catalogues, shot by Russell James on the beach in Turks and Caicos and Miami. They have also made four videos of Angels in teeny tiny bikinis to go with it.
So who did they pick from their group of Angels to put on the cover? Candice Swanepoel was given the honour of appearing on the very first Swim catalogue of the year in a bandeau bikini. Candice said about her cover: 'It feels amazing being on the cover of the Swim catalogue! Before I was a model, I used to see Gisele [Bundchen], Tyra Banks and all of those iconic women on it. It is amazing that a little South African girl can get on the cover.'
VS have also launched a series of four swim videos called The Angels & the Artists, and the first video 'Bikinis & Bruno Mars' was launched this week. In the video Candice Swanepoel and Doutzen Kroes dance and strut around a pool to Bruno Mars' 'Locked Out of Heaven.' These girls have the bounciest poolside strut we have ever seen. Oh and there is a LOT of hair whipping.
So back to the bikinis - the trends this year are prints, neon, mix and match pieces and embellishment. We love the striped sherbert coloured seperates and the neon green tops. So If you're off for some winter sun or already planning your summer beach wardrobe take a look at the VS swim collection.
