Victoria Beckham presented her Autumn Winter 2013 during New York Fashion Week and what a show it was! Ever considerate, the designer treated us to sneak peeks of her preparations prior to the catwalk extravanganza, sharing snaps with her Twitter followers. We saw a bevvy of builders working through the night in order to get New York City Library spick and span in time for today's show and VB herself choosing the most suitable flooring for her army of catwalkers.
At the show itself, we were greeted by a line-up of black T-shirt-clad hunks offering the attendees tea, of the English breakfast variety, of course. Backstage, the Babyliss team were busy giving the models a tousled hair look consisting of a low-slung ponytail. And on the FROW? Yep, there's Mr Beckham himself. David cosied up to Anna Wintour for another season and was spotted chatting animatedly with the US editrix.
As for the collection itself, it was as polished as expected. One super-chic coat featured plaids and strong cobalt accents and we beamed to see tuxedo-style dresses in Grazia yellow. As for this season's footwear, Lady Becks gave us patent booties by Manolo Blahnik. We'll be bringing you the full report shortly.
