News just in: H&M will show their new collection at Paris Fashion Week! Grazia Daily has been informed that the high-street hero will hold their Autumn 2013 show on Wednesday 27th February at Musée Rodin. Tres exciting, non? Considering the Swedish brand have racked up an impressive amount of designer collaborations and have seen their creations hit the red carpet on the likes of Michelle Williams, not to mention already hosting catwalk shows with everyone from Lanvin to Versace, it makes sense that H&M are taking the next step by showcasing their wares during Fashion Week. And where better to start that in gay Paree. So what can we expect from the show? Who knows! But here's what we're hoping for...
1. Anna Dello Russo accessoried-to-the-eyeballs. The fashion maven is always up for a spot of FROW-ing and what better time to showcase her glitzy collection for the brand?
2. Mega models on the catwalk. H&M have a long history of bagging top-notch models for their campaigns, from Gisele Bundchen to Karen Elson - and who could forget when a bequiffed Pixie Geldof rocked the Lanvin for H&M catwalk during the show in November 2010? Get Cara Delevingne on the blower pronto.
3. The aesthetic we know and love. In true accessible style, we're not expecting conceptual designs or bonkers creations to hit the H&M catwalk. Instead, we're picturing the beloved staples that make up every girl's wardrobe. But you never know - we always love a surprise twist and Versace x H&M's show was hardly tame, was it?
4. David Beckham in his pants. Well, he does have a new line of underwear to promote...
5. A-listers on the FROW. Emma Roberts, Chace Crawford, Jessica Alba, Abbie Cornish... this was the stellar line-up for the Versace x H&M event that Lady Donatella held in November 2011. We want more of the same please.
6. Lana Del Rey providing her singing talents. And that wonderful beehive we saw in the ad campaign too.
7. In fact, as many campaign stars as possible. In recent weeks alone, it's been announced that Vanessa Paradis and Georgia May Jagger have been welcomed into the H&M crew. Oh, and then there's...
8. Beyonce Knowles. We've all heard the rumours that the singer is the latest star to be signed up by H&M and what better time to unveil their new recruit?
9. A big announcement. Speaking of Beyonce, is this high-profile event H&M's chance to reveal yet another fash-tastic collaboration?
10. And a really big after-party. There was dancing on tables, giant glittery shoes and a performance by Azealia Banks when the brand brought ADR's collection to the streets of Paris last year. Yep, that H&M lot know how to party.
So none of our fashion fantasies have been confirmed (yet) but what we do know is this season is going to be a good'un. What with Rihanna bringing her River Island collection to London Fashion Week and Tom Ford pulling out all the stops for his catwalk extravaganza, we're in for a right treat. Stay tuned as we bring you more details on this exciting development...
