One of the highlights of Milan Fashion Week for us last season had to be getting the chance to speak to Dree Hemingway at Ermanno Scervino's fabulous post-show party. Since the actress and model was enlisted as the face of the brand's Autumn Winter 2012 campaign her fashion star has been on the rise. As well as winning over Savannah Miller to model the designer's debut solo collection, the 25-year-old revealed to us that she's got design plans of her own.
But for now, for Spring Summer 2013, the great-granddaughter of author Ernest Hemingway is settled in her place in front of the camera. In the campaign video for Scevino's latest collection the 25-year-old is seen entering a bright pink room looking ever so glam as she struts her stuff in bold orange and yellow ready-to-wear pieces. For those of you wondering if you're seeing double, there are definately two Dree's in the promo - the more Drees the better we say.
While model of the moment Cara Delevingne opened the Scervino SS13 show, Dree, with her trademark dip-dye hair and boho beauty is the perfect fit for the campaign. Previous Scervino girl Alice Dellal has subsequently been snapped up by Chanel, so we wouldn't be surprised if Dree has already lined up a whole host of other top fashion jobs.
