Burberry's dapper Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey is well known for his love of indie music and rockers with shaggy hair and floppy fringes. So it seemed perfectly natural that he would hire husky-voiced crooner of the moment, Jake Bugg to perform at Burberry’s latest soiree – called Burberry Acoustic and held last night in the brand’s palatial Regent Street store.
As everyone in the world of fashion knows well, no party will go without a swing unless a certain Miss Cara Delevingne is in attendance. She looked every inch the glamorous representative of the British heritage brand in a Burberry jacket with a peplum satin top and leather trousers with a pair of enviable blue velvet heels.
Other party-goers included TV presenter Zara Martin, Jack Whitehall and his actress girlfriend Gemma Chan as well as cool actress of the moment, Alexandra Roach, who is currently starring in the terrifying Channel 4 series Utopia.
No sign of Cara’s party buddy Harry Styles – who also has been known to attend the odd Burberry event, like the SS13 catwalk show for example – as he was celebrating his own birthday elsewhere in London with his showbiz friends Nick Grimshaw and James Corden.
