It looks like Vanessa Paradis is putting her split with Johnny Depp behind her and kicking off 2013 on a positive note as the face of H&M's Conscious collection. The French singer and actress who dated Hollywood heartthrob Depp for 14 years, fronts the campaign for the high street store's environmentally sustainable clothing range.
Paradis has previously starred in advertisements for Chanel’s Coco perfume and Rouge Coco lipstick and now joins the roster of A-listers from David Beckham to Lana Del Rey who have appeared in campaigns for H&M. In the beautiful pictures, shot against a floral backdrop in what we hope is an authentic chateau the curly haired mother-of-two poses in a selection of Spring 2013 pieces including a ruffle-edged yellow sundress, an embellished zip-up utility jacket and botanical print trousers.
The star, who shot to fame as a pop start at the age of 14, is every inch the poster girl for the environmentally conscious lifestyle that H&M's latest range advocates. She revealed, “I like being part of something like the Conscious collection at H&M. I try my best to shop consciously, and vintage is very much part of my wardrobe. I love the style and it works in an eco-friendly way because I like to use and reuse old clothes.”
The full collection will be available at H&M from end of March and will launch alongside a Conscious collection for Men. Watch the video below for a behind the scenes glimpse at Vanessa's H&M campaign shoot.
