Last week, Lena Dunham treated us to sneak peek of her pixie crop gracing the February cover of Interview Magazine and now images from the inside spread have arrived - and LOOK! she's got all arty and haunting:
Lena Dunham for Interview Magazine
You maaay have heard the writer-director-star of Girls picked up a Golden Globe at the awards ceremony on Sunday night and was seen celebrating with co-stars Allison Williams and Zosia Mamet while swathed in a gorgeous Zac Posen gown. Lena was also spotted cosying up to boyfriend Jack Antonoff, who she referred to as her 'family' when accepting the award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series. Instantly the interweb was set alight with speculation that the pair are set to wed. Oh, and she was also wearing a ring on her wedding finger.
Although Lena has denied an engagement, saying 'I don't want to get married until all gay people can get married', Lena does open up about Antonoff in the accompanying interview. In fact, she states that she has nothing to hide from her interview with the musician and guitarist for the band Fun. 'I know there’s some rule that you’re not supposed to talk about your boyfriend publicly just because it seems like all starlets under the age of 33 have decided not to do that,' she says, 'but if you’re in love with someone great, then I don’t understand why you wouldn’t tell everybody.'

On the subject of love, she contines: 'I’ve always been a big “I love you”– sayer and stuff. But then I worry. Jack once overheard me calling someone else “baby bug,” or some stupid name that I’ve called him before. I was like, “What if he now thinks I’m just a big disingenuous piece of crap?” That kind of thing gives me anxiety because I want everyone I love to know how much I love them.' And oh God, do we love her.
Lady Dunham also speaks about growing up and having to switch schools. 'I didn’t feel like the other kids got me, but then I was also sort of bored and annoyed by them, so I knew that a large part of it was my problem,' she says. 'I actually had to switch schools because I didn’t have friends.'
Oh, how things have changed. As well as being the proud owner of a Golden Globe, Lena recently signed a multi-million pound book deal. In the interview, the 26-year-old star speaks again about how some people find it grating that she's become so successful at such a young age. 'I think people were acting like, “What a lucky, chubby little asshole who stumbled into this situation,” and it kind of hit on some real fears I have, because sometimes I do feel that way.'
