The designer launched his own menswear line back in 1995, and now has surprised industry bods with an Adidas collaboration for the Raf Simons men’s collection showing in Paris menswear fashion week yesterday. So what’s our verdict?
Well, suits and trainers have always been quite a pet peeve of ours, but somehow, Raf’s use of chic muted tones and minimal branding transform these men’s runway looks into quite the beauties. Would you let your man walk to work in his three stripes and suit? We reckon we would, provided they were Adidas for Raf natch!
So with the head-cat at Dior open to collaborations, can we expect him to follow Alber Elbaz at Lanvin, Versace and Marni with a H&M designer collaboration? If there’s a Dior for H&M collab on the cards, consider us already queuing!
