Louis Vuitton's Spring Summer 2013 show was a '60s extravaganza with checks, pointed courts and bow bands in the models' beehives. It was a brilliantly matchy-matchy affair as models walked down the catwalk in pairs and each 'twin' had identical hair as well as co-ordinated outfits.
It seems the matchy matchy LV love is contagious. Ever since the collection debuted during Paris Fashion Week, a whole gaggle of stars have been spotted in the very same checkerboard print. Over the weekend, both Kirsten Dunst and Jessica Alba wore check print dresses to Golden Globes events. Jessica went for a monochrome midi while Kristen went for the brown and white maxi with long sleeves. Nice work, ladies!
As for Kerry Washington, she wore hers with the white LV bow in her hair and you may remember Kristen Stewart wore a monochrome playsuit when the Breaking Dawn - Part 2 promo rounds began this summer. Anyone who tries this look also has to wear identical shoes, as each celeb has been spotted with a pointy court shoe. Hardly suprising, as it's not as if a flatform would look chic with this look.
So what do you think of the check craze? Would you go head to toe checkerboard?
