As snow bombs are still expected to drop, is anyone else finding it a liiiitle tricky to know how to make wellies and puffer coats look chic? Well thanks to the stars at this year's Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah we have some fash-spiration for how to look good in a snowmageddon.
Sundance is the one film festival where you won't spot frothy Elie Saab or ear lopes weighed down by 18 carat rocks, as here stars dress practically. Mentals we know. This year Rooney Mara has been sticking to androgynous oversized coats, while Naomi Watts wore a comfy grey cardi and wedge trainers to the Two Mothers premiere, whereas Jessica Biel has been rocking the boots and beanies look.
Elizabeth Olsen and Dakota Fanning were also in town to promote their film Very Good Girls, dressing like Kimye in matching monochrome outfits to the Cast and Filmmakers Lunch. Do you think this matchy matchy thing will ever stop?
While most play it safe at the festival there have been two gals pushing the fashion boundaries. Juno Temple wore bright green Spring 2013 Louis Vuitton check to the Magic Magic premiere. We wouldn't normally call this daring as everyone from Jessica Alba to Kirsten Dunst has tried out this loud print, but remember this is Utah where uggs, cashmere and parkas are the uniform.
Kate Bosworth went high fashion for her premiere of Big Sur in head to toe Calvin Klein with a slicked back pony tail. She wore a sleeveless calf-hair tank over a white turtleneck with a toffee midi leather skirt, accessorised with a white belt and chunky 60s white boots.
