It's the end of 2012 so it's out with the old and in with the new. We reveal 2013's biggest fashion trends...
1. Stripes
First up, we have the mega trend of the season. Basically, anything in black and white goes but if it's striped, it's even better as seen across the catwalks from Dolce & Gabbana to Marc Jacobs and Ralph Lauren.
2. Perspex accessories
Shoes, bags and bangles have all gone plastic and peekaboo. Whether dolled up with tailored trousers at Alexander McQueen or cuffs to finish off a pretty summer dress at Chloe, everything's gone perpex - as we reported on during Paris Fashion Week.
3. Daisies
The hippy child motif has had a full fashion update for next season. We loved the flower power on Prada's Spring Summer 2013 runway. If you think this trend is too floral for winter, go for accessories for an easy way in.
4. Glow in the dark
This is one of the coolest trends for next season. It began at Alexander Wang's show when the US designer dimmed the lights and suddenly the models glowed in a yellow hue. It's going to be especially big news for eveningwear.
5. Grunge redux
Finally, this is a luxe version of the '90s grunge trend but this time with spiked heels and perfectly glossy beauty as seen at Dries Van Noten's Spring Summer 2013 show.
