Today it's time for one of our LFW faves, the Burberry Prorsum show, which kicks off at 4pm this afternoon. Eek! Burberry always leads the way with digital fashion shows and this year they've launched yet another way of interacting with those sat on their laptops at home with the Burberry Bespoke service.
For the past few seasons you have been able to shop the collection straight off the catwalk, but they have stepped this up a notch this season as you can now order the products with 'smart personalisation.' So what does that mean exactly? Well if you see a bag or outerwear piece you like you can order it straight away and then have your name engraved onto the bag or the coat tag. How cute is that?
The other good news is that it doesn't cost any more to add your own personal touch to your Burbs purchase. You also don't have to decide what you want to buy as the Burberry girls are on the catwalk, as the service will be up and running for the next two weeks and will then your goodies will be delivered in nine weeks. The days when you had to wait till September issues hit the newsstand to see (let alone buy) new season clothes are well and truly OVER.
When your piece arrives you can also run a smart phone over it, which will unlock videos where you can watch how your personalised item was produced from sketches to personalisation. If you then happen to be in the Burberry Regent Street Store the mirrors will then play your product video if you stand in front of them.
Now back to today's show, remember to watch the show live with us at Grazia Daily....
